Production builders

Production builders are the ones who can produce some of the most affordable homes because they build in high-volume and on a large-scale. Most though have a limited library of pre-designed floor plans and offer you limited choices but this is how they keep the price down.

A Production Builder can be the best way to go if their plans meet your needs.

Sometimes you can add a few extras and upgrades, but a change in the floor plan is usually not available. Production builders usually offer a package deal at a package price. They are a great fit when cost is the most important consideration.

The construction times are typically shorter, and the price is usually much

less than a custom builder or a semi-custom builder.

Even with production homes you need a realtor helping you. Navigating the

contract forms and understanding the entire process is what makes the difference between a good realtor and a great realtor. Ask your realtor if he has any new construction experience.
